Quick answer
You can check a UAE trademark’s status with the Ministry of Economy and Tourism’s Trademark Inquiry service, or free on TrademarksHub by name, number or logo. The main statuses are published (open for opposition), registered, renewed and cancelled. The certificate is issued after the registration fee is paid.

Where to check
- Free: the TrademarksHub UAE search — by name or logo, with number, classes, status and dates.
- Official: the Ministry’s Trademark Inquiry service (AED 350) — see UAE trademark search.
- Your own file: your account on the Ministry’s portal, or your agent.
What the statuses mean
| Under examination | Filed; the Ministry is reviewing it. |
| Published | Accepted and published in the gazette; open for opposition for 30 days. |
| Registered | Registration fee paid, certificate issued; protected for 10 years. |
| Renewed | Protection extended for another 10 years. |
| Cancelled / expired | No longer protected. |
The certificate
After the opposition period passes without a successful opposition and the registration fee of AED 5,000 per class is paid, the Ministry issues the registration certificate. Keep it with the filing receipt and evidence of use.
