When does the UAE opposition period end?
30 days after the mark is published in the Trademark Bulletin (gazette).
When must a UAE trademark be renewed?
Every 10 years from the filing date. Renew in the last year before expiry, or within 6 months after it at a higher fee.
When can a mark be cancelled for non-use?
If it has not been used for five consecutive years. Keep dated proof of use.
