From the UAE trademark gazette as read by TrademarksHub (2021 on). “Not renewed” = the 10-year term ended more than 6 months ago with no renewal in the gazette since; a late renewal can still appear. Marks only — owners are never shown. This is not legal advice.

Before you use a name from this list

A cancelled or lapsed registration usually stops blocking new filings, but it is not a guarantee. Score the name, search for other marks with the same or a similar name, and get offers from verified UAE firms. Own a mark yourself? Get a free renewal reminder so yours never ends up here.

Questions

Can I register a cancelled or lapsed UAE trademark?

Often you can, because a cancelled or expired registration no longer blocks a new filing. But the former owner may have other marks for the same name, may have renewed late within the grace period, or may still have rights from using it. Run a health check and ask a registered agent before you invest in the name.

What does “not renewed” mean here?

The mark’s 10-year term (counted from the filing date) ended more than six months ago — past the grace period — and no renewal has appeared in the UAE gazette since. A renewal can still be published late, so check the mark’s status.

Why are only recent marks listed?

The list comes from the UAE gazette bulletins we have read, from 2021 on. Marks that lapsed before then are not covered. It grows with every new bulletin.

Who owned these marks?

We never show owners, holders or contacts — marks only.
