Questions
How much does it cost to register a trademark in the UAE?
Official Ministry fees are AED 6,500 per class: AED 750 examination, AED 750 publication and AED 5,000 registration. Each firm’s own fee is extra and is shown in its offer.
How long does UAE registration take?
Usually a few months: examination, publication in the Trademark Bulletin, a 30-day opposition period, then registration. A one-day examination is available for an extra official fee.
Do I need a local agent?
Many owners use a registered UAE trademark agent for the search, the class wording, the filing and any objection — it avoids refusals and missed deadlines. Every firm that sends you an offer here is a registered UAE trademark agent, checked by us.
Does one registration cover Dubai and Abu Dhabi?
Yes. A UAE trademark is federal and covers all seven emirates.
What do I need to send?
Your brand name and logo, what you sell, and the owner’s name and address. The firm you choose tells you exactly which documents are needed for your case.
Who sees my details?
Nobody, until you choose a firm. Firms see the work, the mark and your country — not your name, email or phone. Only the firm you choose sees who you are.
