How opposition works in the UAE

After the Ministry of Economy and Tourism accepts an application, the mark is published in the Trademark Bulletin (gazette). Anyone with an interest can oppose it within 30 days of publication. The official opposition fee is AED 7,500; a trademark agent or IP firm charges its own fee on top. See the opposition guide.

Don’t want to check this list every week? Watch your brand — we email you when a similar mark is published, while it can still be opposed.

From the UAE trademark gazette as read by TrademarksHub. Mark names, numbers, classes and dates only — owners are never shown. Check the official bulletin before acting.
