Questions
How do I check my UAE trademark status?
Enter your application, registration or international (IR) number above. We show what the UAE trademark gazette has recorded for it — publication, opposition period, registration, renewal — and the next step.
Why can’t I find my new application?
An application appears in the gazette only after the Ministry accepts it and publishes it for opposition — usually a few weeks to a few months after filing. Until then, check the status in your Ministry account.
What happens after the opposition period?
If nobody opposes within 30 days of publication, you pay the registration fee (AED 5,000 per class) and the Ministry issues the registration certificate.
When must I renew?
A UAE trademark lasts 10 years from the filing date. Renew it in the last year, or within 6 months after expiry at a higher fee.
