## Steps
1. Search for similar existing marks using the Similar Mark Search on the IPOS Digital Hub.
2. Classify the goods and services under the Nice Classification, ideally using pre-approved descriptions from the IPOS Classification Database.
3. File Form TM4 online via the IPOS Digital Hub or IPOS Go app, with a declaration of use or intended use and the fee per class.
4. IPOS examines the application; if objections are raised you have 4 months to respond (extendable).
5. Once accepted, the mark is published in the Trade Marks Journal for 2 months, during which anyone may oppose.
6. If no opposition is filed or it fails, IPOS registers the mark and issues a certificate of registration.
