- The Madrid Protocol was extended to the Bailiwick of Guernsey on 1 January 2021; owners of a Guernsey application or registration with a Guernsey connection can file international applications through the Guernsey IPO.
- Agents filing new trade mark applications must be on the Guernsey register of trade mark agents and have a permanent establishment in the Bailiwick.
- The register covers the Bailiwick of Guernsey under the Trade Marks (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Ordinance, 2006.
